Amarillo Independent School Board has agreed to a town hall meeting to address the closing of Pleasant Valley Elementary. Our community is invited to come have a discussion with members of the board about the decision to close the Elementary, and our path forward.

About the event
Please bring any documents relating to your child being negatively affected by transferring schools (such as waivers for overpopulated classrooms), and be ready to tell your story. Tell them about how Pleasant Valley Elementary's closure has affected you, your child or grandchild, and your community. Tell them what Pleasant Valley Elementary means to you! Think about what you would like to see in the future, and how we can make this is a positive event for everyone.
